Prefab supply can include different levels of factory preparation. Pre-sizing, edge finishing, backsplashes, cutouts, labeling and package grouping depend on the confirmed order. Final site trimming, seam work, adjustment, support and installation may still be required depending on the project.

Prefab Fabrication Details
Finished dimensions are only one part of a prefab specification. The current drawing or fabrication record should also define the exposed edges, splash conditions, cutouts, corners, seams, orientation and piece identification required for production.
Finished Detail Review
The fabrication reference should clearly identify which faces and edges are finished, where splashes and cutouts belong, and how each component is oriented and identified.
Identify every exposed edge and the required finished appearance instead of applying one edge condition to the complete component by assumption.
Splash pieces should be defined as part of the finished component set rather than assumed to be automatically included with a countertop or vanity.

Standard slab thicknesses are 20 mm and 30 mm. A laminated or built-up edge changes the visible edge thickness but does not change the underlying material thickness. Other material thicknesses require special customization and remain subject to minimum order requirements, production feasibility, production arrangement, and order review.
Prefab Order Approval
A prefab order should move into production only from one controlled approval version. The selected quartz reference, fabrication drawing, first-piece review and piece schedule should remain connected before wider production begins.
Confirm the exact quartz product and the applicable visual reference before fabrication instructions are connected to the order.
Confirm the finished geometry and fabrication instructions, including the applicable edges, splashes, cutouts, orientation and related component references.
